Whether you're looking to part with some Pokémon cards, LEGO sets, or other nerdy collectibles, we make it easy to trade and get value in return.

How to Trade-In

1. Submit a Trade-In Request: Start by visiting our Trade-In page and filling out the trade-in form. Be sure to provide a detailed description of the items you wish to trade, including any relevant details (e.g., set numbers for LEGO, card conditions for Pokémon, descriptions or pictures for unknown item).
2. Evaluation: Once we receive your trade-in request, our team will evaluate the condition and value of your items. You will receive an email with our offer within [10] business days.
3. Accept or Reject the Offer: If you accept our offer, you will be instructed on how to send in your items. If you reject the offer, no hard feelings!
4. Shipping Your Items: You are responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise specified in a promotion. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your items arrive safely.
5. Payment: Once your items are received and verified, we will process your payout or store credit.

Trade-In Options

You can choose between two options for your trade-in:

• Store Credit: If you choose store credit, you will receive a digital gift card in the amount of our offer, plus an additional bonus (e.g., 10%) as a thank you for trading with us. Store credit never expires and can be used for future purchases at The Nerds Guild.
• Cash Payout: If you prefer a cash payout, we will send you the agreed amount via PayPal, Venmo, or direct deposit (depending on your preference). Please note that cash payouts may be lower than store credit offers.

Trade-In Value

• The value of your trade-in will be based on the condition, demand, and market value of your items.
• We reserve the right to adjust the value of trade-ins if items are found to be in poorer condition than described.
• If your trade-in items are significantly damaged or incomplete, we may offer a lower value or return the items to you.

Important Notes

• No returns will be accepted once the trade-in process is completed, as all trade-ins are final.
• You must be at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or guardian to trade items with us.
• We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during shipping. Please make sure your items are packaged securely.
